Animated Album Cover

For this project, I chose to animate the album cover for Oliver Trees ‘Ugly Is Beautiful’. I focused solely on creating a fun, vivid and entertaining loop that could be displayed on apps like Spotify or Youtube Music. Since Oliver is an eccentric artist, his cover was already cool to look at, so I chose to animate his head bobbing, the balloons bouncing in the smoke and fire, and attempted to create the illusion of the fire moving. I didn’t want to over-do it, yet I wanted to add something that really pulls your attention and keeps you entertained while listening. I used a pinning method for the movements and used the turbulent noise for smoke and fire.
